There are many options in Vang Vieng for scooter rental, and as soon as you arrive and start exploring the town you will spot these shops almost straight away. However, Two Wheels is a partner of Discover Vang Vieng and currently has a 5-star rating on its Google Business Profile.
Two Wheels currently rents out semi-automatics and manual motorbikes for short to long term. Bikes can be rented and returned the same day, kept for 24 hours, or rented for even longer.
The owner speaks English, French, and Lao, and can give practical advice on driving for the less experienced rider, and also information on the best places to go in and around Vang Vieng.
Marc has travelled to many spots outside Vang Vieng, and can recommend routes for the more intrepid explorers who want to go further afield.
All bikes come with a helmet for driver and passenger, gloves, bungies, lock, phone holder, and a full tank of gas as standard and included in the rental price. Further protection gear is offered for a small fee.
Prices start from 120,000 kip in low season for semi-automatic bikes for one day. However, the prices change during high seasons and depending on how long the rental period is for.
Discounts are available for long term rentals and can be negotiated at the shop.
Please note: A passport or cash deposit is required for all rentals which is standard practise in Laos. For Lao nationals, an ID card is accepted instead of a passport.
The shop is located behind La Cigale restaurant on a street directly opposite Domon Hotel. The shop can be found on the Google Map here, and is open from 9am to 5pm.
