Kayaking on the Nam Song in Vang Vieng

What Does the Kayak Tour Involve?

You will be picked up from your hotel at your designated time. Then you will head to the start of kayaking along the banks of the Nam Song river in Vang Vieng.

Once you arrive, you will be given a safety talk and briefing. This is done to make sure everyone enjoys their kayking tour as much as possible, and safely.

You will begin by paddling down the river, stopping once or twice for refreshements before ending up in Vang Vieng city.

How Long Will the Tour Last?

The journey to the start of kayaking takes about 20 minutes, and there is some time to get the kayaks organised and in the water. After the journey starts there is about 2 hours of actual kayaking.

The kayaking takes place over a stretch of the Nam Song between 5km and 8km.

Is the Kayak Tour Safe?

All tour operators used by us are licensed and approved by the necessary government departments.

Life jackets are provided and experienced guides ensure that the party stays together and everybody is safely enjoying their time on the river.

Groups are kept to a sensible size, and extra guides are brought in to cover addiitional guests.

We only use operators who are experienced and take safety seriously. This is the same for paramotors, ziplining, and our hot air balloon flights.

What Time Does the Kayak Tour Start?

Usually, the zipline tour starts at 9am or 1pm. However, it may be possible to book a tour outside of these times for a private group. Message us with your requirements for full information.
