Gary's Irish Bar in Vang Vieng

The bar is family friendly and has two floors. Free pool and darts are available as are live sports and sometimes live music. Gary himself is from Kerry, Ireland, and runs the bar/restaurant with a very friendly and helpful team of Lao staff.

The atmosphere is friendly, welcome to anyone, family-friendly, and is the closest you can get to an authentic pub or bar from back home in Vang Vieng.

On the Menu

Although there is a very tasty curry on the menu, as you may expect, it leans heavily to western staples. Expect to find roast chicken special, bangers and mash, and fish and chips. The signature cheeseburger is a definite highlight.

For drinks you will find the ubiquitous Beerlao, cider, soft drinks, wine, and cocktails, plus of course shots for those who want to celebrate or kick start their night.
